Robots are expensive.

We work hard to raise the money we need to keep doing what we love–building, innovating, and competing as a team. However, like any business, we face unavoidable expenses, and on average, it costs at least $10,000 each year to keep the team running. For this reason, Team 810 reaches out to our students, school, parents, and community to help us fund our team and keep us growing, learning, and competing at the highest level.

What can you do to help?

HoneyGramz Fundraiser

The Smithtown Robotics Team is proud to partner with HoneyGramz to offer a selection of premium, locally crafted honey–perfect for gifting, baking, or enjoying every day! A portion of all purchases will directly support our competition robot construction, material costs, and our outreach initiatives for the 2025-2026 season.

HONEY

  • Wildflower honey is made by bees that have collected nectar from local wildflowers. The taste and composition of wildflower honey can vary depending upon the variety of flowers and the season the honey is made.

  • Through a simple process, HoneyGramz encourages their honey to crystallize and create this amazing "creamy" smooth taste sensation. Now you can enjoy all the taste of honey without the drips. Some beekeepers refer to this type of honey as whipped, buttered, or spun.
