Robots are expensive.
We work hard to raise the money we need to keep doing what we love–building, innovating, and competing as a team. However, like any business, we face unavoidable expenses, and on average, it costs at least $10,000 each year to keep the team running. For this reason, Team 810 reaches out to our students, school, parents, and community to help us fund our team and keep us growing, learning, and competing at the highest level.

The Smithtown Robotics Team is proud to partner with HoneyGramz to offer a selection of premium, locally crafted honey–perfect for gifting, baking, or enjoying every day! A portion of all purchases will directly support our competition robot construction, material costs, and our outreach initiatives for the 2025-2026 season.
